Myosōl is the fusion of the prefix for muscle (myo) & the word solace. It represents in word & concept the style of massage therapy that I provide. I give very specific therapy to the muscles & solace the mind & body together. My approach to care is based on the belief that relaxation is not a luxury. Rather, a relaxed state of being is a necessity for your body to function optimally. In my thirteen years of experience, I’ve seen the long-term benefits of addressing both aspects of well-being.

I received my certification from The Soma Institute of Clinical Massage Therapy, Chicago, IL in 2004. I am also a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. My ongoing development has been a result of the varied environments I have had the opportunity to work in. (I.e. The Kohler Water Spa, 1 of only 56 five star spas worldwide. Hence you will receive 5 star service & professionalism without the 5 star price. Clinical (Anderson Bauman Chiropractic) Athletic(fitness centers) & one on one with professional athletes.)

In this chaotic world I love being able to give people an hour or two out of their day to breathe & balance the chaos with some relaxation & well-being. I also enjoy seeing the progress made physically with athletes who have seen improvement in their performance, as well as the emotional improvement when working with clients on specific issues that have become intrusive to their quality of life.

As much as I love & believe in what I do, I don’t advocate massage as a “cure-all”. I believe in the Integrative Approach towards health & well-being. My awareness of this impels me to work along with other health-care professionals & recommend other forms of treatment in conjunction with or apart from massage therapy to achieve the best outcome for each client individually.

What I enjoy on a personal note, is the time spent with family & friends, engaging in volunteer work, traveling, eating, drinking, tennis, volleyball or any combination of the above.
